NexBrowser Türkçe
Accounts

Share the computer, not your browser.

NexBrowser asks which account to use when it starts. Each account keeps its own history, bookmarks, open tabs and saved passwords. Lock an account with a password if you want.

1

Pick your account

The account list appears at launch. Create new accounts and change their name, avatar and theme.

2

Enter your password

For a locked account no browser window opens before the password is entered. Cancel and NexBrowser quits.

Pick up where you left off

Your tabs, workspaces and sessions are waiting. Other accounts' data is not visible.

How the lock works

Primary password

The account password is Firefox's Primary Password. Saved passwords and certificates are encrypted with a key derived from it.

Window gate

When a locked account is chosen, the password is asked before any browser window opens. Cancel closes the browser.

Separate profiles

Each account is its own profile folder on disk; history, cookies and extensions are never shared between accounts.

Good to know

  • The password encrypts saved passwords and certificates only. History and bookmarks are stored unencrypted on disk; use your operating system's disk encryption to protect those too.
  • If you forget the password, saved passwords cannot be recovered. The rest of the account stays intact.
  • Accounts live only on this computer; nothing is uploaded to a cloud.
